An artist sits before a blank canvas, a paintbrush in his hand. The ability is his, endless opportunity to fill the canvas with life. A conflict rages within him. Paint the canvas in dark hues of blue and gray, or light, cheerful shades of pink and orange? Fill every spot, or slash one streak of paint across the center?
Each person sits before his own canvas, his own stretch of time. He has the opportunity to create his own masterpiece, to fill the space with life and happiness. Whatever he chooses to do will be displayed in his very own art gallery.
Life is only ten percent what happens to us, and ninety percent how we react to it. Life hands us challenges, yet we must work to overcome them. We each have our own opportunity to splash colors on our canvas and make ours the most stunning in the gallery of life.
